Pricing questions answered.

No setup fees on standard payrolls for direct clients. For accountant partners, a one-off setup fee of £149 or £299 applies depending on firm size. Catch-up work on historical records is quoted separately.
All tiers include starters, leavers, tax code changes, digital payslips, HMRC payment amounts, RTI submissions and employee record maintenance. CIS tiers also include subcontractor verification, deduction statements and the monthly CIS return. Nothing basic is charged as an extra.
No. CIS subcontractor deductions, monthly returns and verification are only included in Construction and CIS tiers. If you run both PAYE employees and CIS subcontractors, the CIS + PAYE tier covers both. Pure SME employers with no subcontractors use the SME tiers.
Yes. bookd. handles migration and the HMRC agent transfer process. There is no gap in payroll. Most clients are live within a week of the first call.
If you move into a higher tier during a month, the next month's invoice reflects your actual headcount. It will be flagged before it changes. No surprise invoices.
No long-term contract. Monthly arrangement with notice to end. Most clients stay because the process works, not because they are locked in.
